Leo laittoi hakemusta sisään loppuvuodesta 2021. Nopean try-outin kautta todettiin että tää on meijän miäs ja iskettiin suoraan kokoonpanoon heti seuraavassa ottelussa. Sittemmin on muodostanut yhden kilpparihistorian parhaista tutkapareista laiturinsa #44 Karjalaisen kanssa. Lähinnä Jontun syöttöjen sekä viiltävän tarkan rannekutinsa turvin Ipa onkin naulannut ensimmäisiin 83 otteluun jo lähes käsittämättömät tehot 70+46=116, sisältäen jopa 7 hattutemppua🎩!Lisäksi maininnan arvoinen suoritus pandakarhun lempeydestä tunnetulta herrasmiesmäiseltä maaliruiskulta on yhtä moneen otteluun hankitut (vain) 4 jäähyä.

We'd like to introduce the real foreign reinforcement, the hat trick beast from the fat deep east. By far the best grind line center forward on this side of the globe. He is of course #32 Leonid Ipatov.
Leo put in an application at the end of 2021. After a quick try-out it was decided that this is our man and was put straight into the line-up for the very next match. Since then, he has formed one of the best dynamic duo in the history of the Turtles with his winger #44 Karjalainen. Mainly through Jonttu's passes and his sharp, accurate wrist shot, Ipa has nailed an almost unimaginable 70+46=116 in his first 83 matches, including even 7 hat-tricks🎩! Another noteworthy achievement of the gentlemanly goal-scorer, known for his gentleness as a panda bear, is the (only) 4 penalties he has earned so far.
